Ribbon Cutting

On June 4th, Prestonwood Baptist Church and joined the community for the official opening of Prestonwood Christian Academy North.

Over the years, I've been to many ribbon cuttings, and I must say our PCA North ribbon cutting was one of the most well done I have ever attended!  Chamber of Commerce representatives from the cities of Prosper, Frisco, and Allen attended the event.  Speakers were Dr. Jack Graham, Pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church;  Dr. Chris Kouba, Lead Pastor of Prestonwood North; Dr. Larry Taylor; Prestonwood Christian Academy's Head of School; Ray Smith, Mayor of Prosper; and Maher Maso, Mayor of Frisco.  On hand to help with the ribbon cutting was our PCA mascot, Levi the Lion.  Over 100 people were in attendance, including several of our new PCA North teachers and students!

As explained under the tab "My Journey North," I am returning to Prestonwood Christian Academy "for such a time as this."  It was my absolute joy and honor to be a part of this historic day.  My mind went back to 2002 when I was the Lower School Principal of PCA's Plano campus and had the joy of assisting in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Elementary Education Building.

I love this picture from "back in the day."

As I have said many times, I'm honored to be a part of PCA's past, but even more excited to be a part of PCA's future!
