Morning Assembly Time

We LOVE having our school-wide morning assembly time at PCA North!

At 8:15, our morning assembly begins!  Students lead in pledges and prayer and we give brief announcements.  Mrs. Arredondo leads us in a song or chant (often both) before teachers take their students and begin their day in the classroom.

While we have a rotation of songs and chants, it warms my heart to hear students BEGGING to sing "Thank you, Jesus" each day.  It is an upbeat tune with lots of clapping involved!  Students are able to say things they are thankful for and have it incorporated into the song.  Every day we sing this song, I leave humming "Thank You, Jesus" (insert - clap, clap, clap) for most of the morning.  Is there a better thing we could say as we begin our day?!

Our morning assembly is a great time to bring our NEW students to the stage and make sure they get a proper PCA North welcome!  Within the past few days, we have welcomed five new students!

Thank you, Jesus...(clap, clap, clap)!
